Bonnie Crombie wins 57 per cent majority in Ontario Liberal leadership review vote

The results, which leave her vulnerable to resignation demands, were held as part of a mandatory review on whether to hold a new leadership contest.

Critics have been circling Crombie since Premier Doug Ford won his third majority government in a snap election on Feb. 27.


Ontario Liberal Bonnie Crombie won 57 per cent of the votes in a leadership review vote announced Sunday afternoon, a result that leaves her vulnerable to resignation demands. 

“Let’s be clear,” Crombie told the crowd, “it is not the number I wanted but it is not the finish line for me.”
