º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøpolice are warning the public about opioids following two deaths in the York neighbourhood, 48 hours apart.
Both fatalities appear to be overdoses caused by the victim consuming opioids, according to a Friday police .Ìý
Officers responded to an overdose call on Monday in the area. After arriving at the scene, police found a person dead from a suspected opioid overdose, police said.Ìý

The next day, officers faced a similar situation. They responded to an overdose call in the same area and found another person dead also from a suspected opioid overdose.Ìý
Investigators are concerned that more people may have been sold or given these deadly drugs, police said in the public safety warning also .Ìý
People who get seriously ill after ingesting a narcotic drug should immediately go to a hospital emergency room, call 911 or go to a walk-in clinic for treatment, police said.Ìý
Anyone with information about the suspected opioid deaths around Eglinton and Dufferin are asked to call police.Ìý
