Man charged with impaired driving after Hwy. 403 crash in Mississauga leaves woman in critical condition
The incident occurred on the eastbound side of the highway at Eglinton Avenue East, where the Express and Collector lanes merge in Mississauga, according a social media post by police.Â
Police have charged one person with impaired driving after a three-vehicle collision left a woman in critical condition on Hwy. 403 early Sunday morning.Â
Officers responded to the collision around 1:30 a.m., police told the Star. The incident occurred on the eastbound side of the , where the Express and Collector lanes merge in Mississauga, according a  by OPP.
One woman was taken to º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøGeneral Hospital with critical injuries, Peel paramedics said.Â

A man was also taken to hospital with minor injuries and in stable condition, paramedics told the Star.Â
In an update at 9:30 a.m., OPP said a 29-year-old Milton man is facing dangerous driving and impaired driving charges “after rolling his car” in the collision. The injured woman was a passenger in the same vehicle, OPP said.Â
All eastbound lanes on the highway at Eglinton Avenue East were closed for more than seven hours and reopened around 8:45 a.m., police said.
OPP are investigating the crash.
