º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøcommuters planning to travel along the Yonge-University line this weekend should prepare for major disruptions.
Subway service between Sheppard-Yonge and College stations will be suspended on Saturday and Sunday to allow for planned track work, . The closure affects a significant stretch of Line 1, including some of its busiest downtown and midtown stations.
Shuttle buses will replace subway service along the affected portion of the line throughout the weekend. TTC staff will be on-site to help direct customers , said the release.

Two stations — Lawrence and Summerhill — will be completely shut down during the closure. Other stations along the route will remain open to allow access to surface routes, ticket purchases and PRESTO fare machines.
The TTC will also operate extra Wheel-Trans vehicles between Sheppard-Yonge and College stations for customers who require accessible transportation.
Regular subway service is scheduled to resume Monday at 6 a.m.
