Twenty candidates are running in the byelection for Scarborough—Rouge Park in Toronto. The election will be held on Sept. 29.


Scarborough—Rouge Park residents are gearing up to cast their votes in the upcoming byelection on Sept. 29.

The vote was prompted by the departure of former Ward 25 Coun. Jennifer McKelvie who relinquished her positions as councillor, chair of council’s infrastructure and environment committee and deputy mayor for Scarborough after winning a seat as the Liberal party’s member of Parliament for Ajax.
