City council calls byelection to replace Jennifer McKelvie in Scarborough—Rouge Park

The ward was left vacant when two-term council member Jennifer McKelvie made the leap to Parliament Hill earlier this year.

Ward 25 (Scarborough—Rouge Park) was left vacant when two-term council member Jennifer McKelvie successfully ran in the federal election to become MP for Ajax. She resigned her city council seat May 9.


Voters in Scarborough—Rouge Park will soon be going to the polls to elect a new councillor.

º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøcity council opted Thursday to call a byelection in Ward 25, left vacant when two-term council member Jennifer McKelvie made the leap to Parliament Hill earlier this month.
