º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøpoliceÌýhave issued a Canada-wide warrant for a suspect wanted in a fatal shooting in the city’s east end over the weekend.
Officers responded to reports that someone had been shot just before midnight near on Saturday night. When they arrived at the scene, they found Paulin Harusha, 43, suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. Emergency responders attempted live-saving measures but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are searching forÌýMeelad Tarin, a 34-year-old man from Toronto, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for first-degree murder.

Officers are still looking into the relationship between Harusha and Tarin but Det. Sgt. Alan Bartlett said there was “some familiarity” between the two, in a media conference Thursday.Ìý
Police said multipleÌýshots were fired andÌýthe suspects sped away fromÌýthe scene in a light-coloured SUV before officers arrived.
