º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøFire Services responded to the airport shortly before 10:20 a.m. after witnesses reported seeing smoke coming from the incoming flight. 

Crews were dispatched to support the Billy Bishop firefighters but while they were on the way, º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøfire said that police informed them that the plane had landed safely and the fire was put out. 

Crews followed pre-established procedures and requested priority access to the runway, Porter said.

“Airport services were available to provide support as a precaution, but not required,” they added.

All the passengers were safely taken off the plane and no injuries were reported.
