York Regional Police聽have released video of a gunman targeting two Vaughan homes early Wednesday morning, the latest incidents in a spate of shootings in the area in recent weeks.聽
The footage, captured by surveillance cameras, shows a聽suspect arriving to a home on Farrell Road in a silver SUV and firing multiple shots before getting back into the vehicle on the passenger side. Later on, the video shows the SUV on Allison Ann Way, where someone exits on the passenger side, fires at a home, then jumps back into the car before it speeds away.聽
Both shootings were within minutes of each other, police wrote in a on Friday.聽

The suspects vehicle is reported as a silver SUV, possibly a Honda CRV.
York Regional PoliceOfficers say they were called to Farrell Road, near Bathurst Street and Major Mackenzie Drive, around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday after reports of gunfire. Witnesses told police they saw a silver SUV speeding north toward Allison Ann Way.
Police believe the same suspects were involved in both incidents. Both homes were occupied at the time of Wednesday鈥檚 shootings, but no one was injured.

York Regional PoliceOn Wednesday, York police Const. Lisa Moskaluk said one of the recent properties to be targeted, a home on Farrell Road, struck by gunfire at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 鈥(belonged) to a person associated with the towing industry.鈥
While Moskaluk stopped short of naming the individual, property records obtained by the Star list the home as being registered to a company of which the late towing kingpin Alexander Vinogradsky is listed as a director.
In May 2024, Vinogradsky, 39, was fatally shot while sitting in his car at a vehicle impound lot in North York. His murder is unsolved. It is not clear who currently resides in the home.
Investigators say both homes had previously been targeted in shootings earlier this month and are believed to be linked to shootings at two other homes in the city, including one on Lady Angela Way.聽
On Sept. 10,聽police responded to a shooting at Lady Angela Way at approximately 2 a.m., and arrested a 23-year-old man after a brief foot chase. He was later charged with multiple offences, including discharging a firearm with聽intent, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and unauthorized possession of a firearm.聽
The suspect in the shootings on Farrell Road and Allison Ann Way is described as a male, about five-foot-10, with a thin build. The silver SUV seen at the scene is believed to be a Honda CR-V.
