Police to ‘ensure public safety’ at Christie Pits Park anti-immigration rally and counter-demonstrations Saturday

º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøpolice say they’ll be at Christie Pits Park on Saturday to ensure public safety during an anti-immigration rally and counter-demonstration. 


º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøpolice say they will be on hand Saturday to monitor a rally against Canadian immigration policies as well as counter-demonstrations planned for the same time at Christie Pits Park.

The “Canada First Rally” drew headlines and condemnation when it was first announced last month. Organizers say they are looking for “true Canadian patriots” who “can’t stand what is happening to our beautiful country” to advocate against immigration and undocumented workers.
