One person was taken to hospital after a crash involving multiple vehicles shut down a portion of Highway 401 in both directions.

The º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøbranch of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the crash involving a tanker truck in the westbound lanes near Avenue Road around 11:15 p.m. on Friday.
