Transit riders, including Blue Jays fans headed to the Rogers Centre this weekend, should prepare for TTC and GO train service disruptions across the city.
Subway closures
The TTC’s Line 1 (Yonge-University) subway will have  on Saturday and Sunday for planned track work. Shuttle buses will operate along the stretch and Wheel-Trans will be available. TTC staff will be on-site to assist riders.
Stations between Finch and Eglinton — North York Centre, Sheppard-Yonge, York Mills, and Lawrence — will remain open for surface routes and fare purchases.

On Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth), shuttle buses will replace subway service between  on Saturday and Sunday due to planned transit expansion work. The two stations will stay open for PRESTO services and surface connections.
Wheel-Trans will be available at Victoria Park and Kennedy stations. Warden Station is not accessible.
Also on Line 2, service will end early Friday night at 11:59 p.m. between  to wrap up five days of planned track work. Regular service is to resume at 6 a.m. on Saturday. Christie station will be closed, though all other stations in the stretch will remain open.
Lakeshore West GO trains
will not run between Oakville and Exhibition stations on Saturday and Sunday due to construction.
Replacement buses will operate between Oakville and Clarkson GO stations, then continue directly to Union Station Bus Terminal.
Trains will continue to run between Union Station and Exhibition.
King and Dufferin streetcars, buses
Construction on aging tracks at the starting Sunday until mid-November.

• 29/329 Dufferin buses will divert both ways to King Street West at Joe Shuster Way via Queen Street West and Shaw Street. The 929 Dufferin Express bus route will be shortened to Queen Street West.
• 503 Kingston Road buses will operate between King Street West at Joe Shuster Way and the Bingham Loop (Kingston Road at Victoria Park Avenue).
• The 504A King/304 King and 508 Lake Shore streetcars will operate on Queen Street West between Shaw Street and Roncesvalles Avenue. 504B King streetcars will continue to be shortened to Bathurst St.
Wheel-Trans service will remain accessible in all areas where local traffic is permitted, and the 402 Parkdale community bus service will continue to operate along its regular routing.
