Shania Twain once worked the McDonald鈥檚 drive-thru. Here’s what she says she learned

The country-pop icon talks to the Star about her early McDonald鈥檚 job, her new Canada-only campaign, and why “Come On Over” still resonates.

There are two baselines I consider to be universal truths. First: McDonald鈥檚 fries have long set the standard other fast food chains. Second: no country-pop crossover has echoed quite like Shania Twain鈥檚. Nearly 30 years later, is it even possible to hear 鈥淟et鈥檚 go, girls鈥 without the synth line kicking in?

Now, Twain is teaming up with McDonald鈥檚 Canada for a limited-time promotion that blends deep-fried nostalgia with a touch of country flair. Launching Aug. 12, the All Dressed Up campaign features All Dressed McShaker Fries (fries served with all-dressed seasoning), a baked strawberry pie, and a cowboy boot keychain (to go with your听, of course) 鈥 all available exclusively in Canada.
