Sitting in the Halifax airport in early August, I was at a crossroads while staring down at my dry burrito. A few days at a cottage for a friend鈥檚 wedding, discovering sea critters in tide sands, emptied the noise in my head, but the static resurfaced as my partner Kieran and I picked at our plates.
