WASHINGTON (AP) 鈥 Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said Sunday that investigators are not ready to discuss the motive behind the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. But he said the suspect had left-leaning political beliefs, disliked the conservative influencer and is being uncooperative in custody.

鈥淐learly a leftist ideology,” Cox told NBC’s 鈥淢eet the Press.鈥 On CNN’s 鈥淪tate of the Union,鈥 he said: 鈥淭hat information comes from the people around him, his family members and friends.”
