The 33-year-old woman has also been charged with aggravated assault, administering a noxious substance with intent to endanger life and failing to provide the necessaries of life in a way that endangered life. Police declined to provide more information about the additional charges.Â

Police have not released further details about the incident, including the relationship between the woman and the child.
