York police are investigating another shooting targeting a home in Vaughan overnight, where bullets struck a residence for the second time this month.Ìý
Officers responded to multiple calls reporting the sound of gunshots near  just after 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.Ìý
A residence was shot at and no one was injured, police said in a on Wednesday.

The home, located near , is the same residence that was shot at on Sept. 6, York police told the Star.Ìý
This incident appears to be targeted, with a “strong likelihood” it is connected to the Sept. 6 shooting, York police told the Star. However, they said it “would be remiss” to not consider all the possibilities while investigating, including the possibility that the incidents are not connected.Ìý
Investigators are in the area collecting evidence and canvassing for potential witnesses, so residents of the neighbourhood should expect a heavy police presence in the area, police said.Ìý
The incident is the latest in a series of September home shootings, the most recent of which occurred in the early hours of Sept. 15 in the area of .Ìý
Another home, near , was shot at on Sept. 10, after which police arrested a man. Before that, three Vaughan homes were shot at over the weekend of Sept. 6 and 7.Ìý
