It might be time to ditch those umbrellas for a pair of sunglasses — after a couple of rainy days, it looks like sunny, clear skies will be returning to Toronto’s weather forecast this week and heading into the weekend.
Last week, storms blew through the city with record-setting gusts of wind that snapped tree branches and cut power to tens of thousands.
Once the clouds from Monday’s showers pass through the city on Wednesday, people can look forward to seeing some sun again and temperatures in the high teens and low 20s.

Here is your weather forecast this week:
Tuesday will see a high of 19 C. Skies will remain cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers at night and a low of 12 C.
By Wednesday skies will have partly cleared up with a mix of sun and cloud during the day before cloudy periods return at night. There will be a 30 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon, a high of 20 C and a low of 5 C at night.
Thursday will be sunny with clear skies, a high of 14 C and a low of 5 C.
The skies will remain clear and sunny on Friday with a high of 17 C before dropping to 6 C at night.
Saturday will have more of the same weather with lots of sun during the day but cloudy periods at night. There will be a high of 23 C and low of 6 C.
Sunday will stay warm with a high of 20 C, a low of 9 C and a mix of sun and cloud.
