Forecast for Toronto
The weekend is expected to kick off with mainly sunny skies and a high of 22C on Saturday. Moderate 20 km/h winds will gust up to 40 km/h. Remember your sunscreen: the UV index measuring the sun’s ultraviolet rays will be in the high range as it climbs to eight.Â
Skies will be clear at night as things cool off with the temperature dropping to 5 C.

On Sunday, Mother’s Day should see more sunshine and a daytime high of 16 C under clear skies before the temperature cools to a low of 8 C at night.
Heading into next week, Monday’s forecast calls for more sunshine and a high of 23 C, but clouds are forecast to roll in at night with a low of 12 C.
Those clouds look like they’ll be hanging around: Environment Canada says Tuesday will be overcast with a 30 per cent chance of showers and high of 19 C during the day, with a 40 per cent chance of showers and low of 13 C at night.
Wednesday will be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers and high of 20 C, cooling to a low of 14 C with more rain possible overnight.
Thursday’s is expected to be the warmest day of the week with a high of 24 C, a mix of sun and clouds and a 40 per cent chance of showers.
