‘Meet your neighbours’: Hundreds of hatchlings sprout across º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøunder the eye of Turtle Protectors

The Indigenous-led organization has helped 987 hatchlings since Aug. 17.

Hundreds of turtle hatchlings are sprouting up across the city over August, September and October under the watchful eye of the Turtle Protectors, an Indigenous group advocating and supporting for turtles across Toronto. 


If you’re walking in º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøparks this season, watch your step. 

More than 980 baby turtles have hatched across the city since Aug. 17 under the watchful eye of the , an Indigenous-led group making sure all of Toronto’s smallest neighbours survive in an urban space where they are at risk of falling prey.
