At the time, the victim was younger than 16 and the accused, who was 38 years old when the alleged abuse began, was their Pathfinder leader. 

The now 64-year-old woman from Georgina was charged with three counts of sexual assault and another three counts of sexual exploitation of a young person on April 21. 

Police said she worked as a Sparks leader and a Pathfinders leader within the Girl Guides from 1995 to 2001 in addition to coaching and refereeing youth hockey games.

Investigators believe there may be more victims and have of the woman in hopes that others may come forward.
