Doug Ford government appeals bike lane ruling

A decision by a Superior Court justice last month had found the Ford government’s attempt to remove bike lanes on Bloor, University and Yonge streets violated the Charter by infringing on cyclists鈥 rights to life and security of person.

Premier Doug Ford‘s government is appealing a Superior Court decision from last month that found its plan to remove several 海角社区官网bike lanes was unconstitutional.

The government served a notice of appeal on Thursday to Cycle海角社区官网and the cycling advocates who launched the court campaign.
