Police did not disclose the age or gender of the child, or comment on the nature of the fall. Officers are currently at the scene investigating.

Keisha Sylvester, a resident in the building, said she had just gone downstairs when she saw a young boy lying on the floor while a first responder performed CPR. Sylvester said she thought the child appeared to be a toddler, about two or three years old.

º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøparamedics referred all questions to police and said they could not comment.

º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøFire Services also responded to an address on Jane Street for an “accident and medical assist” call, but were not involved after police said their services would not be needed. º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøfire added that two police and two EMS vehicles were on scene when crews arrived.
