º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøpolice have made an arrest after a video circulating online showed a man pushing a shopping cart into a Danforth Avenue bike lane, striking an e-bike rider and knocking them over Tuesday morning.Â
Video of the incident, which was at Danforth Avenue near Monarch Park Avenue, was , a local biking advocate and lawyer.Â
The video shows a bald man with sunglasses, wearing a white shirt and black coat, walking down the street with an empty cart before he forcefully pushes it at the cyclist. The cart threw cyclist to the ground, knocking off his helmet and a few items from his bike.

The man briefly looks back before he continues walking and the video cuts off.
Shellnut said on X that another e-cyclist stopped to help the victim while they were on the ground.Â
Officers told the Star they cannot verify the video, but did announce Thursday morning that they arrested a man after an assault in the Danforth and Monarch Park Avenues area.Â
Police said the victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threating injuries after they were hit with a cart and fell off their e-bike.Â
with mischief endangering life, assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
