Canadian Tire Corp. (CTC) is on the rebound, though some of the steps it鈥檚 taking to protect itself from the uncertainty caused by the U.S. trade dispute might suggest otherwise.

Profits at the country鈥檚 flagship Canadian-owned retailer more than quadrupled last year, to $888 million. And after a rough 2023, revenues last year appear to have stabilized at $16.4 billion.
