According to a report, the Jays signed the free agent 30-year-old former San Fransisco Giants starter to a long-term contract.


The º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøBlue Jays have signed free agent starter Kevin Gausman to a five-year, $110 million (U.S.) contract, according to an initial report from ESPN’s Jeff Passan that has been confirmed by the Star.

Gausman is coming off a big season with the San Francisco Giants where he posted a 2.81 ERA and 227 strikeouts over a career-high 192 innings. The right-hander finished sixth in National League Cy Young Award voting.
