The union representing 10,000 striking college support staff is now calling for a government mediator to help restart talks.

Now almost two weeks into the job action, with no negotiations scheduled, the Ontario Public Service Employees’ Union released a statement saying “the bargaining team is on strike, just like 10,000 workers are on strike, forgoing pay to fight for a better future. So let’s bring in a Ministry of Labour-appointed mediator to help us reach a settlement.”
