Severe thunderstorm warnings cancelled for regions across southern Ontario
Environment Canada had warned the storms could bring up to 75 millimetres of rain to areas including Guelph, Halton Hills, Milton and northern Peterborough County.

Severe thunderstorm warnings issued Tuesday evening for southern Ontario were cancelled a few hours later by Environment Canada.
The weather agency had issued warnings at around 7 p.m. for areas incluing Guelph, Erin and southern Wellington County, Halton Hills and Milton, Hanover, Dundalk and parts of southern Grey County, as well as Aspley, Woodview, and northern Peterborough County.
The weather agency also warned the thunderstorms could bring 50 to 75 millimetres of rain, along with strong wind gusts.
