A man in his 20s has seriousÌýinjuries after a daylight stabbing in downtown º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøon Saturday, officialsÌýsaid.
Just after 12:50 p.m., º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøpolice responded to reports of a stabbing near , officers said in a .
The victim went to a nearby business for help, investigators said.
At Sam’s Food Stores, a 24-hour market on the southeast corner of the intersection,ÌýPatel — who declined to give his first nameÌý— was workingÌýwhen the victim walked in.

“He told me he had just been stabbed and he needed help to call 911,” he said. “His shirt was completely drenched in blood.”
Following the instructions of the 911 operator, Patel said he held clean paper towels to the man’s wound while waiting for first responders to arrive.
He said he also overheard the victim call a friend and tell them he had been stabbed near a fire station.
Police have not yet issued a suspect description.
Police said the man was taken to hospital withÌýnon life-threatening injuries, and officers are on the scene.
