Man, 28, dead after being struck by a vehicle near Toronto’s Moss Park overnight

The pedestrian was hit around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at the intersection of Sherbourne and Shuter Streets.

The driver stayed on-scene after the pedestrian was hit overnight near Moss Park. 


A pedestrian is dead after being struck by the driver of a vehicle in downtown Toronto’s Moss Park neighbourhood early Wednesday morning.

A 28-year-old man was lying in the road when a Ford Fusion being driven by a 43-year-old man hit him in the southbound lanes of around 12:30 a.m., police said in a statement.
