Anybody 15 years old or younger will need a chaperone to visit Canada鈥檚 Wonderland鈥檚 Halloween Haunt this fall.聽
The amusement park on Tuesday, citing a growing trend of 鈥渦nruly and inappropriate behaviour鈥 across all amusement parks.聽
Every day at 6 p.m., young teens will have to be joined by someone at least 21 years old if they want to stay or enter the park, the notice said, adding that staff could enforce the policy earlier on any given day, if they choose.

The new rules will go into effect on Sept. 26.
鈥淲e are taking proactive steps to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone,鈥 the park鈥檚 statement read. 鈥淧arents or guardians are responsible for the behaviour of their minor children. Appropriate behaviour and supervision are the responsibility of the parent/guardian and is always expected.鈥
The park added that it expects chaperones and anybody 16 years old and up to carry government-issued ID, so that staff can enforce the rule.
A chaperone can only be responsible for 10 kids under the age limit and must stay with their party during their trip.
Tickets to the haunt will now be included in general daytime passes to the park except for the haunted mazes, which are still sold separately, the company says.聽
The event鈥檚 other restrictions include that parkgoers may only bring one bag smaller than 12 by 12 by six inches; masks, full face paint, and costumes are not permitted for guests over age 11; trench coats and military-style apparel are prohibited; and there is no filming inside the mazes.
The haunt begins Sept. 26 and runs on select nights until Nov. 1.
