Plus, Canadian authors make a strong showing with new fiction.

Dan Brown’s new Robert Langdon thriller has a big first week.


It should come as no surprise that Dan Brown‘s “The Secret of Secrets” debuts at the top spot on the fiction list. The book marks the return of symbology professor Robert Langdon from “The Da Vinci Code” and other suspense novels, which have sold many millions of copies and been adapted for film and TV.Ìý

Also of note are three other debuts on the original fiction list, two of which are by Canadian authors, Elsie Silver and Hannah Bonam-Young.
