Jaqueline Belardi doesn鈥檛 know if she鈥檒l ever be able to afford a home even though she earns a good salary. Belardi and her partner make a combined income of more than $180,000, but saving up enough money for a down payment feels out of reach.

鈥淲e can鈥檛 just borrow $50,000 from our parents,鈥 she said. 鈥淭hat seems like the only way younger people are able to buy property these days.鈥
