The shooting occurred in an apartment above one of the businesses located in a plaza, according to acting Det. Sgt. Munish Dhoum.

Despite life-saving efforts, 42-year-old º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøman Lloyd Alexander Hastings was pronounced dead at the scene, investigators said.

Police added there was no information on the suspect, and the homicide division had been notified of the case.

Dhoum added that he doesn’t know how many shots were fired or if the shooting was targeted. 

The plaza was taped off as forensic officers locked down the scene for the “early stages of a preliminary investigation,” Dhoum said.

Hastings is the city’s 12th homicide victim of the year.
