Man dead following single-vehicle crash in Ajax on Monday night

The driver was on private property when he “lost control” of the Toyota Sienna van and hit a concrete barrier wall, causing “extensive” damage to the front of the vehicle, officials said.

The 49-year-old man was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead, investigators said.
Police added the property was closed for several hours while officers assessed the scene, and the collision is still under investigation.
