ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW It says other areas may be impacted, but people in Zones 1, 2 and 3 should be ready to leave at a moment’s notice.The Porcupine River was upgraded to a flood watch at around 10:15 a.m., and the advisory says the water levels are rising driven by snowmelt.It is advising people to stay clear of the fast-flowing rivers and potentially unstable riverbanks during the high-streamflow period.This report by The Canadian Press was first published May 23, 2025.
