Protesters clash at Thornhill synagogue event billed as promoting West Bank land sales

Three arrests as hundreds of protesters and counterprotesters confronted each other at the Beth Avraham Yoseph of º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍø(BAYT)Ìýsynagogue.

Both sides come together outside the BAYT synagogue in Thornhill, where a real estate presentation drew hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters and hundreds of counterprotesters, with at least two police forces trying to keep them separate.


Tensions flared and several arrests were made as a travelling real estate expo from Israel was held Thursday at a Thornhill synagogue.

Called the event was billed as offering attendees legal and financial advice regarding moving to Israel — or to three illegal West Bank settlements.
