Mercedes-Benz C Class cars recalled over seatbelt risk

The seatbelt may not have been installed properly on some vehicles, which means it could come loose over time.

Mercedes-Benz will be reaching out to owners by mail and recommending they take their vehicles to a dealership for an inspection.


Transport Canada has issued a recall for the 2022 and 2023 Mercedes-Benz C Class models over the possibility that the driver’s seatbelt may come loose. 

The seatbelt may not have been installed properly on some vehicles, which means it could detach over time, increasing the risk of an injury.
