鈥淚 definitely feel like my inhibitions were lowered the more I drank,鈥 the woman testified about the night at the bar, saying she felt 鈥渦ncomfortable鈥 and 鈥渃laustrophobic鈥 as team members 鈥渒ept kind of taking turns dancing with me.鈥

LONDON, Ont.鈥 The complainant in the high-profile case of five professional hockey players accused of sexual assault told the jury Friday she was drunk, mentally 鈥渁ll over the place,鈥 and not fully aware of her surroundings in a 鈥渧ery crowded and very chaotic鈥 bar the night she met player Michael McLeod.

Had she not been so impaired by alcohol 鈥 reporting blurry vision and trouble walking 鈥 she likely would not have agreed to go back to McLeod鈥檚 hotel room where the alleged assaults happened in the early hours of June 19, 2018, the woman said in her highly anticipated testimony.听
