Kendrick Lamar is rekindling an old flame in his bitter feud with Drake.Ìý
The Compton rapper included a cameo of º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøRaptors legend DeMar DeRozan in the for his viral diss song “Not Like Us” against Drake.
The cameo is seemingly a dig at the º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍørapper, who is known to have befriended DeRozan in the past.
In the video, DeRozan is seen crouching and looking towards the camera as it pans out while Lamar raps, “I’m glad DeRoz’ came home, y’all didn’t deserve him either.”Ìý
He then gives Lamar a handshake before he walks and the video cuts away from him.Ìý
DeRozan was infamously involved in the trade that brought Kawhi Leonard to the Raptors in July 2018, shipping him to the San Antonio Spurs. The Raptors went on to win the championship less than a year later.Ìý
DeRozan remains the Raptors’ franchise leader in all-time points and games played.Ìý

The ongoing feud between the two rappers came to light earlier this year, when Lamar called out Drake on his surprise feature verse for the song on Atlanta-based producer Metro Boomin and rapper Future’s album.
The verse contains several shots at Drake, including references to the rapper’s 2023 hit-song “First Person Shooter.”Ìý
Lamar claimed to be atop the rap game, proclaiming he was alone in a tier of his own and not to be included with Drake or J Cole, who are commonly referred to as the ‘The Big Three of Rap.’

After weeks of diss tracks, which included Drake insulting Lamar’s height and Lamar insulting Drake’s parenting, the feud had its biggest night on May 3.Ìý
Drake dropped in response to Lamar’s earlier diss songs in the week. In the song’s final lines, he accused Lamar of domestic abuse, though no public allegations have been made against the Compton rapper.Ìý

On the eerie song, Lamar directly addresses Drake and various members of his family, including his mother, his son, his father and an alleged secret daughter. He also likens Drake to jailed Hollywood executive Harvey Weinstein.
The next day, Lamar continued his onslaught with .” The track eventually debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The song’s artwork appears to show a Google Maps view of Drake’s º£½ÇÉçÇø¹ÙÍøresidence.

A month later, Lamar performed the viral hit six times at his “Pop Out: Ken & Friends” concert at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif. During the performance, he was joined on stage by DeRozan, NBA player Russell Westbrook and other notable figures from the area, who all danced along to the song.
