Heavy-metal legends Metallica revealed Monday that they鈥檒l play a special charity concert at Toronto鈥檚 Opera House next week in celebration of the band鈥檚 10th studio album, Hardwired 鈥 To Self-Destruct.
鈥淲e can鈥檛 get enough of that hot, sweaty old-school small show vibe,鈥 the band said on its website, explaining the choice of the relatively intimate (capacity: 950) Queen St. E. venue. The band has priced two separate sets of tickets for the Nov. 29 show, with all proceeds going to The Daily Bread Food Bank.
Fifth Members — that is, members of the band’s fan club — will be able to purchase pre-sale tickets between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Wednesday for $25 via . Non-members will be able to purchase two tickets per person on the same day, as of 11 a.m. for $100.

Aside from the proceeds, the band will set up collection bins and encourages all people in attendance to bring non-perishable food items.
