Ottawa native Kathleen Edwards recently released her sixth album, “Billionaire,” a chugging rock record co-produced by Jason Isbell and Gena Johnson.聽

A quarter-century later, that鈥檚 how the Canadian singer-songwriter, 47, remembers her early days. On Tuesday nights, she鈥檇 play the free slot at Toronto鈥檚 legendary Horseshoe Tavern. Sometimes she would drink a bit too much, get 鈥渁 bit rude and sassy,” get scolded for being, in her words, an 鈥渁nnoying, drunk, little brat.鈥
